One of the highlights of the Spring semester at CSI has always been the Undergraduate Conference on Research, Scholarship, and Performance. This year’s Conference will take place on Thursday, Apr. 28. We are delighted to present an event that includes virtual/online research presentations, as well as in-person performances from students in the arts.
The virtual conference will be held from 12:30pm to 4:00pm. There will be five tracks of presentations that will run concurrently on Zoom Webinar, with each student scheduled to give a live three- to four-minute summary of their research/work, followed by a four-minute Q&A from attendees via the chat feature. Student posters are currently available for viewing on the Conference Website under the tab, 2022 Virtual Research Conference. This Webpage also includes the Conference Program and the Student Presentation Schedule. Zoom links for presentations will be forthcoming and will be available on the Website.
The performance portion of the Conference will take place live and in person, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P). This segment includes: musical performances by CSI Young Artists, CSI Jazz Ensembles, and CSI Guitar Ensemble; the student art exhibition; and performances by students in the Drama Program. The schedule for these performances is also available on the Conference Website.
We hope you can attend the Undergraduate Conference this Thursday as we continue the tradition of celebrating the work of our students and their mentors.
Students, faculty, and staff are all invited to join.
