Following rules on New York State Open Meeting Laws, the College Council and Faculty Senate meeting on Thursday Sept. 22 will be held in person in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P), Room 119 from 2.30pm to 4.25pm.
This rule was suspended during COVID-19 and the Governor did not renew the suspension of the Open Meeting Laws earlier in September.
Elections will be held to elect four members of the College Council Executive Committee. Members of the College Council will vote on these positions.
A quorum is required to hold these meetings and conduct elections.
We are exploring the possibility of holding a bi-modal (in-person and virtual) meeting. We will inform you as new information comes in. However, members who wish to vote need to attend in person.
At College Council, votes will be cast for the following positions: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and one at-large member.
At Faculty Senate, votes will be cast for Curriculum and Policies impacting students.
Thank you for your attention.
