College of Staten Island alumna Francesca Navarro was recently featured in the Staten Island Advance’s New Business in Focus section, a spotlight on her recently-opened business, Balloon N’ Color. In the feature, written by Tracey Porpora, Navarro shares her story, growing up in public housing, following her educational pursuits at CSI, and then her dream of opening a shop dedicated to creating colorful and elaborate balloon-decor designs that meet her her clients’ visions, a passion she first started to follow working at Staten Island’s Bubbles Playhouse, a children’s party place. See Francesca’s amazing story on the Staten Island Advance Website.
