We are happy to announce the RELAY Fellows who will be working together on improving campus climate by addressing bias. These fellows have been selected because they have extraordinary knowledge, expertise, and ability to further this collective work to make the College more inclusive and equitable.
The RELAY Project is a bias-response team that aims to build community through restorative processes and peer support to all members of the CSI community. It has grown out of the Antiracism Collective of the PSC-CUNY CSI Chapter. The RELAY Project is supported by a grant from the Mellon-funded CUNY Black, Race, and Ethnic Studies Initiative (BRESI) and the Office of Interim CSI President Timothy G. Lynch.
The grantees would like to thank the many members of CSI’s professional staff and faculty who applied and took part in interviews for these positions. It was challenging to choose the Fellows from among so many strong and deeply committed candidates; the selection process aimed to create a team that represented many areas of our campus while balancing faculty and staff involvement and the communities they serve.
