In January, the Center for Advising and Academic Success (CAAS) and the Office of Recruitment and Admissions will once again collaborate on in-person engagement activities for our incoming freshmen. CLASS 100: CSI’s Lessons and Advisement in Student Success is an introduction to the fundamentals of college life. CLASS prepares incoming freshmen to successfully transition from high school to college and teaches each student how to get the most out of the First-Year Experience. For your reference, a sample CLASS outline is online.
Students will be invited to CLASS after successfully completing virtual CSI Advisement and Registration Training (vCART) and virtual New Student Orientation (vNSO). It will take place in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) on the following dates:
- Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, from 8:30am – 1:00pm
- Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, from 12:30pm – 5:00pm
- Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, TBA (snow day)
We are planning a Student Services Fair in the 1P Atrium on Jan.12, from 11:30am – approx. 12:30pm, and Jan. 17, from 3:30pm – approx. 4:30 pm.
