The Library, on behalf of Academic Affairs, encourages you to apply for the FY 2024 CUNY OER Initiative Grant.
For the seveth consecutive year, CUNY will be funded by New York State to envision, establish, and institutionalize new and ongoing OER initiatives and practices across CUNY. Since the fall of 2017, more than 48,000 sections have used OER or ZTC materials, resulting in students in those sections saving over $113 million.
Funding is available for faculty who wish to convert course(s) to Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) using OER and/or other materials available at no extra cost for students. There are always awards for original OER creation, OER assessment, and other related projects. Please go online for full information and to apply.
