Applications are now open for the Bertha Harris Women’s Center Single Mothers Scholarship. One $1,000 and two $500 scholarships are available through funds raised by BHWC student interns.
To apply:
Submit a copy of your 2022 tax return and a 500- to 750-word, double-spaced essay about:
How being a single mother has affected your educational journey; how completing your education will benefit you
and those around you; and what you envision doing with your completed degree.
Submit materials to the Women’s Center in Building 2N, Room 106. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023. Scholarships will be awarded this December.
