Would you like to be part of a small community of students who work together to support women students and promote women’s success in our community?
The Bertha Harris Women’s Center offers a student internship that is open to everyone who is interested in learning to advocate for justice, equity, and equality on issues of gender, sex, and sexuality. Students can learn how to work with other students in partnership with faculty and staff to create a more gender-inclusive community on and beyond the CSI campus.
Student interns organize public-facing events, staff the drop-in Bertha Harris Women’s Center, and provide support to those who seek the Women’s Center’s assistance.
Interns receive four hours of academic credit through enrollment in WGS 490; prerequisites for WGS 490 are sophomore standing or above plus completion of any WGS course. To apply, send a letter of interest and résumé; successful interns will be chosen after an interview.
Please see and share the online flyer for more details.
