This is a friendly reminder about disability parking policies in NYC and on our campus:

  1. Hangtag Display: Disability hangtags must be visibly displayed from the rear view mirror while parking, both in the City and on campus.
  1. Hangtag Ownership: If you hold a CSI parking permit and display a hangtag, it must belong to you. It is illegal to use someone else’s hangtag.

  2. Enforcement: Our parking enforcement team is actively ensuring compliance with these rules to benefit individuals in our community with disabilities.

  3. Verification Process: If you are authorized to park in a disability spot, please contact our office to ensure your credentials are on file. Unauthorized parking, even with a hangtag, may result in a summons.

  4. Summons Resolution: Once your credentials are verified, any issued summons will be voided, and you’ll receive an additional pass for appropriate parking.

If you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact our office.
