This is a Call for Nominations for the 20th Annual CUNY Women’s Leadership Conference. This year, the conference theme is “Leading and Mobilizing Our Communities.” The conference is scheduled for Wednesday, Mar. 20 from 9:30am to 2:10pm at The Graduate Center, CUNY. Registration and light Breakfast will begin at 9:30am. The Graduate Center is located at 365 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The goal of this invitation-only conference is to inspire women students and allies to further develop their skills and realize their potential as leaders.
We may invite 20 students to attend this conference and are asking that you nominate students who you think may be interested, available, and will gain something from the experience. Please consider academic success in making your nominations. It is our objective to send a diverse cohort of women, from freshmen to graduate students. To nominate one or more students, please complete the CUNY Women’s Leadership Conference nomination form. Include name, CUNY EMPLID, address, cell phone number, email address, and a statement about the student and why you are nominating her by Monday, Feb. 19 at noon. If you can confirm your nominee’s availability to participate, in advance of their nomination, that would be helpful.
In addition, we may be able to invite up to two faculty/staff members to attend. Please let Robert King Kee in Student Life know if you are interested and available to attend.
