Many of you may be aware of the ongoing construction on Forest Hill Road near the College’s D Street (back gate) entrance. Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 11, our D Street entrance will be directly impacted. During this period, which is estimated to last two weeks, access to campus via D Street will be from the IBR (Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities) parking lot off of Forest Hill Road just north of our D Street entrance. CSI students, faculty, and staff will then travel across the parking lot and make a right at the exit onto D Street where you can then proceed directly onto the campus. To exit the campus, you will do the same thing in reverse.
The work is scheduled to end by 4:30pm each day. After 4:30pm, we will revert back to our regular traffic flow until the following morning. Weekends will not be affected, as there is no work being done, so regular traffic patterns will apply.
If possible, you may wish to utilize our main entrance/exit at Victory Boulevard during this period.
Either way, for your safety and the safety of our community, including the construction workers and flag staff, I urge you to exercise caution and patience during your travels to and from the campus.
