After a pair of engaging events in March, the Earth and Environmental Science Speaker Series will continue this week with a panel on April 10 with Dr. Gerry Rustic, Associate Professor at Rowan University and a talk dedicated to exploring historical climate variations and the impact of the El Niño Southern Oscillation.

The Spring 2025 Earth and Environmental Science Speaker Series, organized by Sean Thatcher, Lecturer of the Department of Engineering and Environmental Science, features distinguished experts sharing insights on cutting-edge environmental research and career guidance.

The speaker series is free and takes place in Building 3N, Room 103 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

The series will continue with two more panels after this week’s presentation:

• Dr . Lauren Neitzke Adamo (April 24) – An expert in novel field technologies will focus on the future of fieldwork, emphasizing universal design learning to enhance inclusivity. This event is CC CLUE.

• Jim Bennett (May 8) – An engaging discussion on navigating career dreams, plans, and unexpected turns while entering the professional world. This event is PG CLUE.
