College of Staten Island community members are invited to a Sexual Assault Awareness Month Event (SAAM) hosted by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, in collaboration with Staten Island’s District Attorney’s office.
On Thursday, Apr. 24, ADA Dana Gambardella will be leading presentations in Building 1A, Room 308 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm.
Learning about the District Attorney’s (DA) office provides valuable insights into the criminal justice system, public safety, and the role of government in addressing crime. The College of Staten Island also has a strategic partnership with the DA’s Office that allows them to be a direct resource to sexual crime-impacted students. Come learn more.
Dana Gambardella has worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office for approximately three years. ADA Gambardella joined the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office to help ensure justice here on Staten Island, the community in which she was raised. In addition to ADA Gambardella’s work at the District Attorney’s Office, she had been a Professor of Constitutional Law at Wagner College. In her current role, ADA Gambardella prosecutes cases involving child abuse, child sexual abuse material, and sexual abuse of both adults and minors.
