We are excited to invite session proposals for the upcoming 2025 CUNY Professional Development Conference, taking place virtually on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 13 and 14. This year’s theme, “The Human Renaissance: Reimagining Leadership and Innovation in Higher Ed,” focuses on how we can collectively reimagine the future of work by placing people, purpose, and progress at the center of higher education.
The conference will feature sessions across five dynamic tracks. We encourage you to submit a proposal that aligns with one of the following focus areas:

- Leadership Development Track:
Vision, Voice, and Values: Redefining Leadership in Higher Ed
- Talent and Performance Track:
Rethinking Talent: Building Agile and Future-Ready Terms
- Cultural Competence Track:
The Power Perspective: Cultivating Cultural Fluency
- Technology Track
Human-Tech Synergy: Leveraging Digital Tools for Engagement and Efficiency
- Employee Wellness and Well-Being Track
Mindfulness, Meaning, and Motivation: Tools for Sustainable Success
Session Details:
- Format: Virtual (via Zoom)
- Length: 60 minutes
- Audience: All CUNY employees
- Submission Deadline: Friday, Aug. 22
Presenters should be comfortable facilitating engaging and interactive Zoom sessions. We welcome a variety of formats, including presentations, panels, case studies, and skill-building workshops that encourage reflection, participation, and application.
Whether you’re a faculty member, administrator, or professional staff, your experiences and insights can help foster meaningful development across university.

Session Selection Criteria:
The Professional Development and Learning Office will review all proposals in detail to determine which will be selected for the conference. Acceptances will be announced by the week of Tuesday, Sept. 9.
