As we approach the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4, we want to ensure that you have all the necessary information to cast your ballot. New York City offers nine days of convenient early voting, giving you flexibility to participate without missing class or work.

Early Voting allows any registered voter to cast a ballot at their assigned Early Voting site before Election Day. Note that hours vary daily, and your Early Voting site may be different from your Election Day site.

Find Your Assigned Poll Site. In NYC, you must vote at the specific Early Voting site assigned to your residential address. It is essential to confirm this location before you go.

Find Your Site: Use the NYC Board of Elections Poll Site Locator.

Registration Deadlines:

Voter Registration Deadline: Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 (This is the last day for the Board of Elections to receive your registration application by mail or in person to be eligible to vote in the General Election.)

Change of Address Deadline: Monday, Oct. 20, 2025

Need to register to vote?

Students can now register to vote on campus by visiting the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) in the Campus Center (Building 1C), Room 218.

More information on voter registration and key dates can be found at The City University of New York register to vote Webpage.
