This week, users will begin receiving CUNY Login (CUNYfirst) password expiration emails, as 180 days have passed since the first password change was made earlier this year, in May. Users will be directed to update their CUNY Login password to continue using their login credentials. Please note that password expiration is established as one of the requirements specified in the CUNY Password Standard.
The email will be similar to the example below:
Hi Name:
Your CUNY Login password will expire on SAT NOV 15, 2025 at 01:11 PM.
You can change your password using the Manage your Account link on the CUNY Login page or by going to managelogin.cuny.edu in a web browser.
