We are excited to announce a new chatbot that is scheduled to go live on our Website on Monday, Feb. 2., after 11:30am. Kudos to the CSI Web application team for their efforts in developing this solution, leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio and generative AI. This new chatbot replaces the original solution from a third-party vendor that was sunset in December. In addition to the benefit of reducing costs, this new chatbot interface crawls the Website, providing generative AI for information, and does not rely on customized data, which was difficult to maintain. In addition, this chatbot is easily scalable, allowing IT to develop additional bots at no cost.
This is the first release of the CSI Bot, which mirrors the same services provided by the previous third party solution. The chatbots are for the following areas and the pages:
Please understand that developing this bot was not an easy task, and the IT team continues to make modifications. The next feature we are working on is to include foreign language options and to connect the knowledge base across all the bots. The bot is a work in progress, and we appreciate your flexibility and patience as we continue to improve its performance.
