CSI-TV presents another installment of The Arts at CSI Presents, this time featuring the amazing sounds of the Repertory Jazz Combo, a Midterm Recital directed by Dr. Darrell Smith. The performance hour is set for 3pm today at the Center for the Arts’ Recital Hall.

The CSI Jazz Repertory Combo is a small group of students learning to improvise in the jazz medium. The intimate setting allows for more solo improvisation, giving the students a chance to tell a story through music. Led by Dr. Smith, the group represents the most advanced work being done in this area at CSI.
