The College of Staten Island will welcome the Staten Island community to campus this fall for the Faire & Flourish Fall Festival, a free, family-friendly celebration featuring local vendors, live music, kids’ activities, food and more. The event will take place Sunday, October 11, from 12-5pm on CSI’s Great Lawn.

The festival offers a natural opportunity for CSI to connect with neighbors and visitors while showcasing the many ways the College serves as a destination for the Staten Island community. CSI will have a presence at the festival with tables representing Workforce Development, Continuing Education, the Alumni Association, the Center for the Arts and other areas of the College. Visitors can stop by to learn more about CSI’s educational opportunities, community programs, cultural offerings and ways to stay connected to the College.

Organized by Faire & Flourish, the festival will bring more than 50 local small businesses and vendors to the Great Lawn, offering handmade goods, clothing, jewelry, home décor, baked goods, artwork, gifts and more. The event is designed to support local artisans, creators and small businesses while creating opportunities for the community to come together.

Families can enjoy a variety of fall-themed activities, including a mini pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting, face painting and other kids’ activities. Live music will be featured throughout the afternoon, with performances scheduled by Joe Endozo, Ramsey Nukho Music and D4ZE. Admission is free and the festival is open to all ages.

For CSI, the event also highlights the College’s role as a community resource beyond the classroom. From continuing education and workforce development to the arts, alumni engagement and public programming, CSI provides numerous opportunities for Staten Islanders to connect with the College at every stage of life. The College’s Center for the Arts, for example, regularly welcomes the public for performances, cultural programs and community events.
