The College of Staten Island has been selected with seven other CUNY institutions to participate in the Muslim Student Experience Evaluation & Support Initiative. This initiative is being led by the Office of Transformation, the Center for Inclusivity & Equal Opportunity, and an external partner, Muslim Campus Life.
As part of our evaluation, representatives from Muslim Campus Life will conduct a site visit in late October. During their visit, they will facilitate focus groups with Muslim faculty, staff, and students, tours of campus spaces, meet senior administrators, and engage with members of our community to better understand the Muslim student experience at CSI.
Currently, we are seeking volunteers to participate in the Muslim faculty and staff focus group and the Muslim student focus group. If you would like to be added to our focus group, please let me know by Tuesday, Oct. 13 at noon.
