Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary with a concentration in Legal Studies from The State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus in Macro Studies from Boston University. Ms. Meyer’s past work experience has been with substance abusers in the criminal justice field. The scope of her recent work has been in child welfare, specifically focusing on older children in the foster care system in NYC. Ms. Meyer is an instructor as well as the Director of Field Education for the Bachelor’s of Social Work at the College of Staten Island.
