The Softball Field lighting project is slated to begin again with the installation of the concrete sleeves for the light poles. Work will begin on Monday, Mar. 12, starting on the outfield side of the softball field, and will have an impact on Parking Lot 1.
Students, faculty, and staff will be allowed to enter Parking Lot 1, both the open parking and the faculty/staff gated parking areas. Once the contractor finishes in the outfield, at approximately 10:00am, the equipment will be moved to the access roadway leading to Parking Lot 1. At that time, no cars will be allowed to enter the parking area and the roadway will be closed. Public Safety Officers will be posted to direct traffic to allow for exit only from the faculty/staff lot.
It is expected that the work will impact the roadway and could take up to two days to complete.
