As you may already know, Health and Wellness Services will be collecting used cellular phones and equipment to support victims of domestic violence through Friday, Apr. 20. Please drop off your used phone in The Camppus Center (Building 1C), Room 111 or 112. Nine other CUNY campuses are participating in this campaign, and Verizon will be providing each campus with a monetary award to be used for funding women’s health and safety programs.
Also, the Twitter contest for students donating used phones is open. Students who drop off equipment for collection should post a photo of themselves doing so, noting their home campus, to #CUNYHope. Every student who does so is eligible to be randomly selected to win either a Samsun Galaxy Tab or a 4G LTE Samsung Smartphone.
