The College of Staten Island will be hosting its first Lavender Graduation on May 31, 2012 as an additional celebration to the institution’s 36th Annual Commencement. Graduates at all levels are encouraged to attend the College’s 10:00 a.m. Commencement Ceremony, which will be immediately followed by Departmental Exercises. Please know that all students are welcome to attend all of the College’s celebrations with family and friends.
The College’s first Lavender Graduation celebration is scheduled for Commencement Day, Thursday, May 31 in the Library’s Archives and Special Collections (Building 1L, Room 216) at 4:00pm and will celebrate the achievements and contributions of our LGBTQ students. Attending graduates are encouraged to bring family, friends, and other significant individuals in their lives. Of course, all faculty and staff are invited.
