Sharon Loverde (Assistant Professor) is joining CSI from the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Pennsylvania where she was a National Institutes of Health National Research Service Award (NIH NRSA) Postdoctoral fellow with Dennis E. Discher and Michael L. Klein. She received her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University in 2007 with Monica Olvera de la Cruz. Her current research interests focus on state-of-the-art molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the self-assembly of amphiphilic molecules with applications in the field of drug delivery.
