In response to the many inquiries and your comments, this message is to inform you that CUNY has extended the last day to officially withdraw from Fall 2012 classes with the grade of W from Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, to Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 for those colleges that adhere to the 15-week academic calendar. This extension will provide students and faculty with the necessary time to make up midterm assessments and for students to have adequate time to be able to make informed decisions in their best academic interests. Please update calendars on your Websites as well as student systems accordingly. For those colleges that have a non-standard calendar (Law, KBCC, LGCC, NCC), please adjust your last day to withdraw one week from the original date.
