The nomination period for student leadership positions, including Student Government, is currently on. The below email was sent to all students to inform them of this. It would be terrific if you could speak to students in your classes/areas who you believe would be interested in running and encourage them to nominate themselves. Attention students. CSI Student Elections are coming. Nominations are now open.
Nominations are now open for the Spring Student Elections where students are elected to leadership positions for the 2013-2014 academic year. You can run for seats on the following organizations:
Student Government (including seats for President and Vice President)
-CSI Association
-Auxiliary Services Corporation
-College Council
-Faculty Student Disciplinary Committee
These leadership opportunities afford you with excellent résumé experience along with the opportunity to gain insight into the economic and political aspects of College life.
The nomination period runs from Thursday, Feb. 14 through 3:00pm on Friday, Mar. 22.
The completed Nomination Packet, including the candidate’s platform statement described in “How to Become a Candidate,” must be submitted by 3:00pm on Friday, Mar. 22, 2013. Go online for the Nomination Packet – log in using the SLAS account user name and password that you use to log on to campus computers.
