I would like to thank everyone who participated in and supported the Admitted Student Conference on Sunday, Mar. 16. The event was very well attended and the feedback from our guests has been very positive. It truly took a team effort across all divisions of the College to make it so successful.
As a reminder, the Office of Recruitment and Admissions will be hosting another Admitted Student Conference for newly admitted students on Sunday, Apr. 27 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
This event is designed to inform students about the many opportunities available to them at CSI with the goal that they will accept our offer of admission and enroll at the College. At past events, students and their families have been particularly eager to hear directly from faculty members and staff about specific academic programs and student services. I strongly encourage you to send a representative to this program so that you can recruit and familiarize newly admitted students with CSI’s offerings as they build their academic plans.
Based on lessons learned on Mar. 16 and the fact we expect another very large crowd for the next event, we will adjust the program to provide a better flow of traffic for all involved.
The event will begin at approximately 10:45am. Registration for students begins at 10:00am.
The Academic and Student Services Fair is tentatively scheduled from 10:45am to 1:30pm.
For those of you who are covering an information table, please arrive by 10:15am. The fair and special sessions will begin at 10:45am for a portion of our guests. We will be running many of our sessions twice to accommodate the numbers and provide a better traffic flow. Please plan to be there until 1:30pm.
Please let us know if your representative is interested in conducting a session on the majors offered in your department or on a particular program.
