On Thursday, June 18, the College of Staten Island will host a day-long symposium honoring Dr. Fred Naider, which will feature talks focused on his research and educational contributions by internationally renowned individuals. The celebration will continue with a gala banquet to be held at Young Israel of Staten Island.
One way to honor Dr. Naider for his contributions to CSI, CUNY, and the scientific community in general is to help build the scholarship fund that the Naider family has created. The Naider Family Scholarship will be merit-based and will support outstanding students in the sciences. These funds will be directed to tuition assistance as well as special opportunities such as research projects, attendance at national scientific conferences, or study abroad programs.
Distinguished Professor Naider has taught organic chemistry and biochemistry to thousands of CSI students and has trained doctoral-level and postdoctoral-level scientists. As Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, he has also provided leadership for many initiatives at the College of Staten Island and CUNY. We hope that you will join us to recognize Dr. Naider’s more than 40 years of service.
A gift of any amount will be appreciated and acknowledged in the Scroll of Honor at the symposium and banquet. If you are interested in being a sponsor at any of the levels listed below, two banquet tickets will be included.
Sponsorship Levels:

Gold $1,000
