Seokyoun Hwang began his career in South Korea, where he worked for the central bank and financial regulator for around 20 years before coming to the United States. His research takes an interdisciplinary approach to examinations of earnings management combined with various accounting issues. Seokyoun received his MBA from the University of Maryland, and his PhD in Management from Rutgers University.
