I am writing to inform you of two changes that are forthcoming that will impact the hours of Library (Building 1L) services. These changes reflect the current budget conditions and staffing levels in the Library.
First, Library hours will end at midnight throughout the week of final examinations, this December. This means that there will be no extended hours during final examination week. Library services (i.e., reference, circulation, course reserves, equipment lending) will end at 10:00pm and the first and second floors of the Library will remain open as a study hall from 10:00pm until midnight.
Second, during Winter Intersession in January 2017, the Library will be closed on weekends. On weekdays, the Library will be open from 9:00am to 10:00pm.
Lastly, effective Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, Library hours for Sundays will begin at noon and end at midnight. On all other days, the Library opening hours will remain from 8:00am to midnight. Please note that Library services will end on each day at 10:00pm, Sunday through Saturday. Only the first floor of the Library will remain open as a study hall from 10:00pm until midnight.
