You are cordially invited to attend the new exhibition of artwork from the graduating seniors in the visual arts, titled Cognitive Dissonance. The exhibition features students receiving the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, as well as seniors in the Photography and Studio Arts programs.
The artwork ranges in focus from Holocaust survivors to immigrant laborers, from recycled trash sculptures, to intimate family portraits, and more.
The exhibition opens Saturday night, May 13 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, with a discussion at about 7:00pm. The Gallery is located in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P), Room 118-B, at the end of the middle corridor, off the main hall, on the ground floor.
A closing reception will take place on Tuesday afternoon, May 30, after the Departmental Commencement Ceremonies.
