The College of Staten Island women’s volleyball team is back in action tonight and will look to bounce back from their loss against FDU-Florham on Friday night.  Tonight they will travel to Jersey City, NJ to take on New Jersey City University at 7:00 pm.

Players to Watch (CSI):  Teresa Maresca paced the way for the Dolphins with three kills on seven total attacks in the loss to FDU. Vanessa Reyes debuted in her new role as setter for the Dolphins and tallied five assists and two service aces and will look to improve upon her numbers tonight.
Players to Watch (NJCU): Ayleen Pittar has amassed 66.5 points through four matches this season and leads the Gothic Knights with 54 kills.  Rachel McIntyre is the teams assist leader with 85 and she will look to move the ball to give her team an open look at the Dolphins’ defense.
News and Notes:  This will be the first meeting between these two teams since 2014 where they played twice and having split outcomes.  The Gothic Knights won the first meeting that year while the Dolphins went back to Jersey City, NJ and won 3-1.  In the last three meetings the Dolphins hold a 2-1 edge and will want to improve that record tonight as they will hope to even their record this season at 1-1.
