- Collecting, Reviewing, and Grading Student Submissions in Blackboard: Having difficulty retrieving and/or reviewing your student’s work from Bb? Having difficulties grading work submitted by students via the assignment submission tool? Having difficulty setting submission parameters or permissions for your assignment submission links on Bb? If so, attend this open question-and-answer forum hosted by one of the Blackboard LMS Specialists from the CSI Faculty.
- Interacting with Students in Blackboard: Asynchronous Strategies and Best Practices: An overview of some of the best ways to interact, communicate, and collaborate with your students asynchronously online using Blackboard
- Looking Toward Finals: How to Calculate Grades with Blackboard: This workshop will go over the different ways you can calculate your students’ grades within and illustrate the difference between running totals and weighted grades, as well as discuss the option of using grading categories versus assignment-based grading.
- Troubleshooting in Blackboard Collaborate: Having difficulty navigating Collaborate? Unsure what permissions are best to keep your sessions secure? Unsure how to deal with technical difficulties? If so, attend this open question-and-answer forum hosted by one of the Blackboard LMS Specialists from the CSI faculty.
- Troubleshooting Testsand Quizzes in Blackboard: Having difficulty creating tests in Bb? Having difficulties setting deployment parameters or permissions for your test and quizzes? Unsure how to deal with technical difficulties? If so, attend this open question-and-answer forum hosted by one of the Blackboard LMS Specialists from the CSI faculty.
- Working with Rubrics in the Blackboard Grade Center: An introduction to the rubric-scoring tool within Blackboard, a tool that can be used to evaluate student work more definitively.
There is no sign-up needed to participate in any of the trainings offered. To attend, simply click on the access link provided anytime within 15 minutes of the start of the workshop. Once clicked, Blackboard Collaborate will appear at the top of the screen. It will show the specific training session you are joining and offer a place for you to type your name (please enter both your first and last name). Select Join Session after typing your full name.
