Please be advised that there will be a shutdown of electrical power in buildings 1A and 3A on Friday Oct. 30, starting at 6:00pm until approximately 5:00am on Saturday. During this time, both normal and emergency power will be turned off, and there will be no phone or network connections. All persons who are working remotely using VPN are asked to make sure that all work is saved to their hard drives prior to 6:00pm on Friday. Once power is restored, some computers may install multiple Windows updates, which could take some time. Users who experience issues reconnecting to their computers should contact the HelpDesk at 718.982.4357.
