In order to comply with updated CUNY security policies and procedures and protect the integrity of data on our servers, the Office of Technology Services will be upgrading its virtual private network (VPN) appliance. This appliance currently allows you to securely access documents used by your office that contain sensitive information.
The VPN upgrade will occur on Wednesday, Apr. 20. Technology Services has pushed out a newer version of the Global Protect client to your office desktop to prepare for the upgrade. This client will be needed to access the upgraded VPN appliance. In addition, departmental shared files located behind the existing VPN will be unavailable starting Tuesday, Apr. 19 at 5:00pm and will not be available until the upgrade is complete on Wednesday, Apr. 20 at 9:30am. Please plan accordingly.
