I regret to report that Jane Coffee, Professor of Mathematics, passed away over the weekend. Jane was a pillar of strength and integrity at CSI during her long career here. Her efforts in the Teacher Education Honors Academy have nurtured the vast majority of those teaching math in Staten Island K-12 schools, and she was a tireless advocate for that program and for her students, both in TEHA and in her other math courses. She will be sorely missed.
