Bertha Harris Women’s Center offers single mother’s scholarships with funds raised by BHWC student interns and community donations.
These scholarships support single mothers who have historically struggled to complete their degrees and also have had to deal with criticism that in seeking an education they are failing to prioritize their children.
In fact, in gaining an education, single mothers are providing a brighter future for their children while also elevating themselves.
Please encourage any women students who are raising children on their own to apply. If you are a single mother, please apply.
