With the Spring semester underway, Information Technology Services would like to provide a few reminders. Some good news – there won’t be any major changes – so you can take a breadth. We will not be changing your email platform.
As always, please feel free to contact IT if you have any concerns.
Information Technology Reminders and Updates

2. Wireless connectivity to the CSI network continues to be addressed. Technology Services is still deploying additional access points contingent on electrical and budgetary resources.
- Microsoft Teams – Microsoft Teams has a new look. You can access MS Teams by going online and entering your CUNYfirst credentials.
4. Real-time network status availability by building can be viewed by visiting:

- Danny Chat Bot – We will be implementing an AI-driven chat bot that will crawl the CSI Website to provide interactive information to visitors to the website.
- A more dynamic homepage design with improved, more concise navigation
- Campus Network Resiliency Improvements – We are working with CUNY Central to replace end-of-life network switches to provide enhanced performance, improve security, and accommodate growing bandwidth needs.
