I am pleased to announce the hiring of our new Procurement Director, Marino Pawlowski. Prior to joining CSI, Marino acquired more than eight years of extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, working for both the NYC Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and CUNY’s Central Procurement Office. While at the MTA, Marino served as a Procurement Specialist coordinating the sourcing, solicitation, and awarding of operating contracts for the Department of Subways. Most recently, Marino served as one of CUNY’s lead Purchasing Managers, overseeing all aspects of the procurement process for goods and services on behalf of the University’s shared services departments. While at CUNY, Marino assisted CSI by providing critical assistance and crucial guidance to our Purchasing Office team pending the completion of the Procurement Director search.
Marino holds a BA in Italian and Hispanic Studies, cum laude, from Brandeis University and is currently pursuing his MPA from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College, CUNY.
During his tenure at CUNY, Marino has earned a reputation as a reliable and supportive subject matter expert in the field of Procurement and Supply Chain Management. We are most fortunate to have Marino join the CSI family. Please join me in welcoming Marino to CSI. He can be reached at Marino.Pawlowski@csi.cuny.edu or at 718.982.2163.
