As the Fall 2024 semester closes, I am reminding you about the incomplete grade deadline and policy.
The last day to remove an INC grade from the Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 semesters is Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024. INC grades not changed by the deadline will be converted to FIN grades.
INC Grade Extension: Instructors may request a one-semester INC grade extension for an undergraduate student or one-year INC grade extension for graduate students. Any INC grade that is unresolved after the extension deadline will become a FIN and may not be changed thereafter. The Undergraduate and Graduate INC Deadline Extension Forms can be found in Faculty/Staff Resources.
A grade change request needs the chairperson’s approval. To change the INC to a letter grade, please email the following information to your department.
· Student Name
· EMPLID
· Semester and Year
· Course Number and Section
· Current Grade
· New Grade
· Reason for Change
Once approved, the department will submit the Grade Change Online Form on your behalf.
Please note that additional grading support will follow along with important instructions and deadlines pertaining to your end of semester grade rosters.
