Welcome back, the Spring 2025 term is about to begin! I’d like to take this opportunity to share some important dates and deadlines set within the academic calendar that can have great impact on our students (please note that the academic calendar is subject to change at any time by official action of the University):
- Friday, January 24: Last day for a student to receive a 100% tuition refund for dropping a class(es).
- Saturday, January 25: Classes begin.
- Wednesday, January 29: No classes scheduled.
- Friday, January 31: Last day to add a class or swap a class.
Financial aid certification is based on student’s enrollment status on this day.
Last day for a student to receive a 75% tuition refund for dropping a class(es).
- Saturday, February 1: Verification of Enrollment Rosters available to faculty.
- Friday, February 7: Last day for a student to receive a 50% tuition refund.
- Wednesday, February 12: College closed.
- Friday, February 14: Census date
Last day a student can receive a 25% tuition refund.
Verification of Enrollment rosters due from faculty by 11:59pm.
Last day a student can drop a class in Schedule Builder without a W grade on the transcript.
Last day to register for an independent study course for the spring term.
Last day a student can change or declare a major/minor for it to be effective in the spring term.
- Monday, February 17: College closed.
- Tuesday, February 18: Classes follow a Monday Schedule.
- Saturday, March 1: Last day for students to apply for June 2025 graduation.
- Thursday, March 6: Classes follow a Wednesday schedule
- Tuesday, April 1: Last day a student can drop themselves from a class in Schedule Builder with a grade of W (which bears no impact on their GPA).
- Saturday, April 12 – Sunday April 20: Spring Recess
- Thursday, May 15: Last day of regularly-scheduled classes.
Grade rosters open.
- Friday, May 16-Thursday, May 22: Final Exam Period (details to be sent under separate cover).
- Wednesday, May 28: Commencement
Grade rosters close at 11:59pm.
