The College of Staten Island is excited to share that The West Point Band will be making its long-awaited return to the Center for the Arts — their first performance here since before COVID! Tickets are FREE for the performance on October 28, and attendees simply need to register to reserve their spot.
As we approach Veterans Day, the College warmly welcomes our veterans/ROTC members and would love to extend an invitation to local veteran-affiliated groups. Please help spread the word would so we can reach these communities.
The West Point Band is the U.S. Army’s oldest band and the longest continuously operating unit at West Point. With over 200 years of history, the band’s mission is to provide world-class music that educates, trains, and inspires the Corps of Cadets, while serving as ambassadors of the United States Military Academy and the Army. Their roster includes musicians who have performed at Carnegie Hall, toured with Ricky Martin and Chaka Khan, and been inducted into the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame. Members have appeared on the Today Show, turned chairs on The Voice and La Voz, and contributed to Hollywood’s most iconic soundtracks.
This is a truly special opportunity to experience their talent and honor our veterans together. We hope that you will join us!
