The CUNY Open Enrollment Website is now live for the Fall 2025 Open Enrollment/Transfer Period (Saturday, Nov. 1 – Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025). Any changes made during the Fall Transfer Period will become effective on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026 and any changes in payroll deductions will appear on the Jan. 22, 2026, paycheck. Additionally, on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, beginning at 11:00am, CUNY will host live virtual open enrollment presentations.  Each presentation will be about 30 minutes. The schedule and Zoom information are below:

11:00am – PSC CUNY

11:30am – Metro Plus

Noon – NYSUT

12:30pm – DC–37

1:00pm – Emblem Health

Important Change: Effective Jan. 1, 2026, the current GHI CBP/Anthem PPO plan will be replaced by the new NYCE PPO plan, administered jointly by Emblem Health and United Healthcare. All current GHI CBP/Anthem PPO plan members should have received a letter at their home/mailing address announcing this change. Most plan features and costs will remain the same, but the provider network will expand, giving employees and their dependents access to a broader range of in-network healthcare providers.

If you are currently enrolled in GHI CBP/Anthem PPO, you do not need to take any action to continue your coverage. Your enrollment will automatically transfer to the NYCE PPO plan with no gap in coverage unless you choose a different plan during the Fall Transfer Period. 

Employees who have questions about the new NYC PPO plan — whether currently enrolled in GHI CBP/Anthem PPO or considering joining — are invited to attend one of ten live virtual information sessions, running from Monday, Oct. 27 to Friday, Nov. 7, 2025. Each session will feature live presenters from both Emblem Health and United Healthcare, followed by a dedicated Q&A segment to answer any questions you may have. To register for one of these live virtual information sessions go to NYCE PPO and scroll all the way down the page to “Virtual sessions“. Choose a date and time and then click “register now.”
