The College of Staten Island is scheduled to host a virtual information session for prospective students interested in its RN-BS completion program. The information session is meant for a specialized cohort of student, and is being hosted by Doctoral Lecturer Magalie Pantermarakis, who doubles as the RN-BS Program Coordinator.
This specialized information session, scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, from 12:15 – 1:15pm, via Zoom, is intended for students who are licensed registered nurses but do not hold the baccalaureate degree, students enrolled in the last semester of an accredited associate degree nursing program, diploma-granting nursing school, or an associate degree program affiliated with an accredited diploma-granting nursing school that prepares students for licensure as registered nurses. Students who are currently enrolled in CSI’s AAS Nursing program are strongly encouraged to attend, as anticipation for the program grows.
Registration for the info session is available here.
While general info sessions for the program provide information on the structure of the RN-BS curriculum, prerequisite coursework, and key admissions requirements, the specialized info session on March 25 with Dr. Pantermarakis will be specific to practicing nurses and those completing Associate’s degree studies.
For more information on the session, including which session may be right for you, contact the Department of Nursing or reach out directly to Dr. Pantermarakis.
