Please be advised that in anticipation of cooler weather during the next two weeks, heat has been returned to campus buildings. Please take note of the following:
-Heat has been returned to all campus buildings and will automatically turn on when outside temperatures are below 55 F.
-Window fan coil units in academic quad buildings will automatically provide heat when unit is on and thermostats indicate that temperature is below setpoint.
·-Administrative buildings 1A, 2A, and 3A, and Building 1C window fan coil unit thermostats are a different design than academic quad buildings and will work backward until we return to cooling. Due to this design and this quick pivot back into heating, please note that if the thermostat knob is turned cooler, it will blow heat. This directive is only applicable for the administrative buildings and Building 1C. All other buildings’ units should operate normally.
