In an effort to keep the campus community informed about the progress of the Campus-Wide Restroom Reconstruction Project, Phase 1, please be advised of the following update:
The contractor has mobilized and begun demolition work on the first floors of buildings 1A and 1P. At this time, the necessary permits to begin work in Buildings 1C and 1L have not yet been obtained. As a result, the Monday, Nov. 2 start date previously noted for construction in those buildings is no longer feasible.
We are currently awaiting confirmation from DASNY regarding a revised start date for buildings 1C and 1L and will continue to keep the campus community informed as additional information becomes available.
As always, thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete these important upgrades to our campus infrastructure.
