The College of Staten Island will be a proud participant in the Sixth Annual Staten Island Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, June 5. The Parade will kick-off at noon on Central Avenue at Slosson Terrace, and wind through the streets of St. George, culminating with a festival from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in Tompkinsville Park, at the corner of Victory Blvd. and Bay Street
CSI is looking for faculty, staff, and students to represent CSI as we march in the parade to support and celebrate Staten Island’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community. Anyone interested in participating/marching in the parade can register in person at the CSI Office of Student Life (Building 1C, Room 201), via email at studentlife@mail.csi.cuny.edu, or by contacting the Office of Student Life at 718.982.3088. Free t-shirts will be given out to the first 100 registrants on the day of the parade.
