The College of Staten Island has partnered with the Office of the Borough President for a “phase 2″ launch of Clean Up Staten Island.

“We are happy to partner with the borough president on issues that are important to all Staten Islanders, like the litter problem,” said College of Staten Island President Dr. William J. Fritz.  “CSI is a microcosm of Staten Island. If we can make it work on our campus, we can make it work anywhere on Staten Island.”

“Partnering with local institutions like CSI gets our anti-litter message out to a wider audience,” said Borough President James Oddo. “By changing the culture and mindset in our schools and colleges about litter, we can stop the next generation of Staten Islanders from contributing to the problem.”
