CSI’s Division of Student Affairs/Office of Student Life is proud to present a CSI Leadership Conversation and Civic Engagement Fair on Thursday, Apr. 11 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Recital Hall from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. In response to our need and collective responsibility post-Hurricane Sandy, and building on our work from last year’s Annual Leadership Conference, we have created an inspiring and interactive half-day event that will provide the opportunity for our participants to learn about the importance and the responsibility of giving back.

We are honored to present two inspiring national leaders, Frank Siller (Chairman, Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundationn) and David Campbell (Executive Director, All Hands) as our speakers. The two leaders will highlight the importance of their work, and address the needs of leadership in our communities and the role that civic engagement needs to play to rebuild on an individual, community, and global level.

After the conversation, we’ll be hosting a Civic Engagement Fair with community organizations on Staten Island. This is an opportunity to learn more about our community, research places to volunteer, meet new friends, and  make a difference in the lives of others.
